Illusion knitting

tried my hand at illusion/shadow knitting today.  Made a short scarf for my daughter.  Still has to be blocked and I want to add a crochet border - but here is what I ended up with

When you look at it straight on, you mostly just see striped (it's teal and gray, but the lighting was crap so it didn't photo that way)

And then from an angle you can see the block letters that form her name.

I really loved making it and my next step is to learn to make more complicated charts and bigger projects!
