Scarf

This particular yarn was several partial scarves, both crochet and knit, before I found the pattern I liked best with it.  It's a lace yarn from Paton and I used a 4.0 mm hook with it.

This is the stitch I used.  I just added rows of single and double crochet on each end to give it a finished look.

add dc & sc rows to end

repeat across putting 5 dc in spaces and hdc in top of clusters.  End with a DC in last sc

ch 1 sc in same space and sc across

fasten off and weave in ends.

  1. How many skeins of Paton's lace yarn does the scarf take?

  3. I love the looks of this scarf, so light and pretty. I am trying to make it as a gift for someone, but I am having trouble with the written instructions. It seems there might be some missing steps in row 2? The written instructions don't seem to match up to the graph instruction. Please help!

  4. It looks like the written pattern is correct again at Row 4.
