Virtual Race

I love virtual races.  I do several of them a year.  It's not as much fun as in person racing, but I still like participating.  I take them seriously, mapping my course and recording my time.

I think next year I will be organizing a virtual race to raise money for a clinic that treats people with no insurance for a $15 office visit.  Everything is still in the planning stages, but I am excited.  My daughter who has her masters in public administration is on board to help with the organizing.  Today was spent pricing shirts and medals.

Race won't be until next fall.  I don't want to rush things - if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right!
