100 Hats?

In less than a month I will have a birthday.  I do my new year's resolutions on MY new year.  So I start them on my birthday.

Among my resolutions this year is to make 100 hats for charity.  I decided to upload them as I go.  I hope that some of the other crafters who check this blog will join in.  Hats are easy, fun to make and practical to donate.

If you do, I would love to see your creations.  You don't have to do 100.  You can do 1 or 1000 (if you're really ambitious and have invented the 30 hour day)

Doing it again this year!  Trophy has been selected and registration is open.  There is a tab at the top of the page for more information.

Again money raised will go to fund lunch accounts of students in need.  Those kids who fall in the crack between "free or reduced lunch" and "can afford to buy lunch"

There is a free option for folks who don't want a trophy.  My hope is that people who choose that will help by funding lunch for kids in their own community.

"Race Day" is February 6th.  47 days after I turn 47.  Join me in celebrating the gift of another year!

Balloons

Although you might not know it from the posts on this blog - I am a balloon artist.  Somehow I have stumbled across a way to get paid to play.  It's a pretty fun job.  Decided to share a bit of what I do.  After I retrieve files from my old hard drive I will post some instructions for making basic balloon sculptures.
