Pineapples!  A timeless pattern with thousands of variations and combinations. They look much harder and more intricate than they are - pineapple patterns are usually pretty easy.

This is a big one(about 8 inches tall) done in size 10 thread.  The square below it is part of a bedspread I hope to finish in my lifetime.  I have a love of thread crochet bedspreads.

These were made with size 30 thread. I don't buy that size on purpose - my eyes can't handle it.  However I do buy bags of thread & yarn at the thrift shop whenever I see them.  That's how I ended up with the tiny stuff.
